BLINDSIDE Announces European Tour Dates With AFI, LINKIN PARK

Sweden's BLINDSIDE has issued the following update:

"First off we'd like to announce that BLINDSIDE is currently in the studio recording new music and will have this material out within a not-too-distant future. We will have all the details for you in the next newsletter.

"Now what better way of celebrating springtime than to do an extensive touring session. The boys are excited to get back on the road again playing everything from small club shows to arenas the next couple of months. We're doing headline tours as well as supporting some great bands on their European tours.

"We are excited to announce that we will be supporting AFI on their European Tour. We will join them on the following shows:

May 02 - Amesterdam, Netherlands - Paradiso
May 03 - Wiesbaden, Germany - Schlacthof
May 05 - Milano, Italy - Rolling Stone
May 06 - Zurich, Switzerland - X-tra
May 08 - Vienna, Austria - Outdoor Aarena
May 09 - Leipzig, Germany - Haus Auensee
May 11 - Copenhagen, Denmark - Pumpehuset

"Directly following the AFI tour we are pleased to announce we will be doing some dates in Germany and Switzerland.

May 12 - Berlin Germany - Silverwings (headlining)
May 14 - Cologne Germany - Underground (headlining)
May 16 - Frauenfeld Switzerland - Springtime Festival
May 17 - Hamburg Germany - Logo (headlining)
May 18 - Minden Germany - Maiday Festvial

"We heard that LINKIN PARK were doing a European tour and thought it'd be a nice time to catch up with them. They were kind enough to offer us three dates in Northern Europe." The details are as follows:

May 24 - Copenhagen Denmark - Forum
May 25 - Stockholm Sweden - Globe Arena
May 27 - Hamburg Germany - Colorline Arena

BLINDSIDE has also lined up the following Scandinavian dates:

May 30 - Lund Sweden - Smålands Nation (headlining)
May 31 - Copenhagen Denmark - Stengade 30 (headlining)
June 01 - Stockholm Sweden - University - Republik Festival
June 02 - Oslo Norway - John Dee (headlining)
July 01 - Gothenburg Sweden - Frihamnen - Pier Pressure festival

BLINDSIDE's 10-day Australian tour is scheduled to kick off on April 5 in Coolangatta.

BLINDSIDE's last album, "The Great Depression", was produced by Lasse "Lars" Marten and was released in August 2005 via DRT Entertainment.
